Azercosmos was represented at the Baku Water Week

Azercosmos was represented at the International Conference and Exhibition of Baku Water Week, held for the first time in Azerbaijan.

At the event held on March 12-14, Ismat Baxishov, the Director of the Geographic Information Systems Center, participated in the panel session titled Technological Innovations in Water Management. At the panel he provided information on the management of water resources and the use of space monitoring in water management within the country's territory, along with their solutions.

The leader of the Thematic Processing Team, Murad Jamalov, who spoke on the topic of Application of Modern Technologies in Water Management, provided information in his presentation about the use of remote sensing data, including monitoring of water use in agriculture through satellite, efficient irrigation, and minimizing losses.
